Oli is now wanting to breathe new life into its prestigious 'big brother' over the road.

A release from Glasgow's Great Institutions and Taverns sets out the plans.

It says: "We’re giving epicures a major makeover, closing from this Monday 6 and relaunching on Friday 24.

"The £250k makeover is designed to make the already beautiful space even better.

'Community'

"We're bringing back trees; introducing an epic salad bar; incredible cakes and a new dinner experience.

"The new look will also include an event area and spaces for groups to meet along with their own line-up of events to bring the community together.

"The new menu will be unveiled next week along with sneak peeks of the new look, so keep your eyes peeled @epicuresglasgow for all the latest on the relaunch."

Other venues in the GGIT group include West End favourite brel, Sloans, Maggies, The Griffin and Jacques.
