Rioja Finnieston on Argyle Street has been reimagined by its new Spanish chef.
The dark interiors have given way to light and airy colours and tones.
And the food was on song at a press night this week.
Award-winning chef Miguel Angel Mayor took up his first UK post at the start of summer.
An a la carte menu features a choice of tapas, starters, mains and desserts.
Sample dishes include: Canapé de Pollo Pulpo - crispy chicken skin, fresh Galician octopus, parsley gel and baby shard; and Croquetas de Cocido - béchamel, cured Iberian ham, chicken thigh and a trio of stocks.
But the change of vibe inside is the first thing that hits the diner.
The restaurant space and kitchens have been completely refurbished.
The two floors are inspired by Spain's picturesque coastline, with baby blue and peach colours, and pastels.
Chef Miguel Angel Mayor said: "Our food reflects the evolution of taste.
“Scotland, its people, its produce, and its history have always piqued my interest.
“Our menu at Rioja links the high quality of Scottish produce to the history of Spanish cuisine.
“A menu that constantly evolves and has no borders - a one-of-a-kind celebration of food, with flavours that showcase innovative techniques and Spanish gastronomy."
Chef Miguel previously worked at the world-famous El Bulli in Catalonia.
He received his first Michelin star in 2017 at Sucede in Valencia.
Rioja Finnieston is his first appointment in the UK.
