Hillhead Library will be transformed into a catwalk when the 2nd Byres Road Fashion Show takes place next weekend.
The best in what's in this summer will be on show from stores and retailers in Glasgow's trendy West End.
Models from Model Team Scotland will show off the collections at the two shows on Friday June 2 and Saturday June 3 at 7.30pm
Eleven retailers will be styling their clothes for the front row including vintage specialists Starry Starry Night, independent boutique Jasmine, Ruth Swan jewellery, Fat Face, Just For You and Oxfam.
The Byres Road Fashion Show is organised by the Byres Road and Lanes Business Improvement District, the organisation behind Visit West End, and part of a continuous bid to attract consumers to shop local and support West End traders and operators.
David Howat, Chairman of the Visit West End, said: “It’s great to support local charities and our fashion weekend is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the unique collections and pieces that can be found right here in the West End.
“Support your local shops, buy a ticket and join us for a weekend of fashion, fizz and fun. You won’t regret it.”
Anna Graham, owner of Starry Starry Night has been successfully selling vintage clothing in Dowanside Lane for over thirty years.
She said: “We welcome this opportunity to take part in this fun event and showcase some of our vintage fashion.”
Guests will receive a drink on arrival, and there will also be a prosecco bar, together with live entertainment.
Tickets cost £5 and include a fizz reception and entertainment.
Half of proceeds from the ticket price will go towards local charities on Byres Road.
