Glasgow’s annual festival showcasing independent breweries and drinks specialists takes place at Queen Margaret Union (QMU) in the West End on Saturday 24 October 2026.
Organised by the Glasladies Beer Society (GBS), the Beer is for Everyone Festival has become one of the most anticipated events of the Scottish beer calendar - and in keeping with its ethos of inclusiveness, the event is fully accessible, family-friendly and dog-friendly.
The popular beer festival showcases Glasgow and Scottish favourites as well as first-time participants from across the UK.
Inclusive
Regulars Dookit Brewing Co said they are attending again as they love what the Glasladies Beer Society stands for. “GBS is a great organisation genuinely promoting inclusivity in the Glasgow beer scene who also put on excellent and fun festivals, which are certainly one of my favourites in the calendar.”

Edinburgh-based Moonwake Beer Co. talked about their friendship with Glasladies via International Women’s Collaborative Brew Days over the last couple of years. “Saying yes to the festival was a no-brainer. We love everything they stand for when it comes to making craft beer a more inclusive space, and the charity work they do is brilliant. We can’t wait to head down the M8 from Edinburgh to support the team, catch up with the Glasgow beer scene, and pour alongside some great breweries.”
Bullhouse Brew Co from Belfast, recent overall champion at the inaugural Indie Beer Awards Northern Ireland, is a first-time attendee. “Creating welcoming, inclusive spaces to enjoy great beer is incredibly important to us at Bullhouse, so we’re absolutely thrilled to be invited to pour at Beer Is For Everyone for the first time this year. We love Glasgow and we’re looking forward to catching up with some old friends, and making new ones!”
The Glasladies Beer Society was founded in 2019 to help amplify the presence of women and non-binary people in the beer industry. It has just been shortlisted as a finalist for the upcoming Women In Beer UK Awards in the category of “Women’s Beer Collective of the Year.”

Beer Judge & Drinks Writer Laura Hadland will run two South Asian inspired food pairing and informal tasting sessions. The free workshops sponsored by Crisp Malt, will work its way through a selection of gastronomic delights from festival vendor Cone of Pakora and snack brand Curry Smugglers to understand a bit more about how different beer styles interact with food and - most importantly - to discover which combinations suit your own individual palate the best. The beers and food pairings all have a vegan-friendly option available.
Hadland is the current Susanna Forbes Cider Communicator of the Year and her latest book, Beer Festivals, is nominated for the Gourmand Awards best beer book in the world. She is an experienced beer judge and gives tastings at events and food festivals all around the UK.
As in previous years, the festival will serve as a fundraiser. This year’s nominated charities are Finding Your Feet and Alzheimer Scotland. A percentage of ticket sales plus 100% of raffle sales will be donated. Since the group’s formation in 2019, it has raised upward of £12,000 for various local and national charities.
