A man was taken to hospital with a serious head injury following a disturbance in Maryhill.
The victim was one of three men who were on Maryhill Road, near to Dunard Street, just after midnight on Sunday morning.
They were approached by a man and a woman walking a dog, who came from the direction of Dunard Street.
The group then became involved in a disturbance, which spilled out onto the road, affecting road users and causing a disruption.
The incident resulted in the 20 year-old man being seriously assaulted by the man who had been walking with the woman.

He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he received treatment for a head injury and has since been released.
Officers have been reviewing CCTV images to help with the enquiry and the suspects.
They continue to carry out door-to-door enquiries.
The suspect was wearing a black t-shirt, bright coloured shorts.
'Motive is unknown'
The woman in the company of the attacker was wearing white trousers and a black t-shirt and walking the dog.
Detective Constable Andrew Barbour said: “The motive for this attack is unknown.
"From enquiries carried out so far, the area was heavily populated around the time of the incident and I am appealing to people were in the area at the time.
"In particular, I am asking the two men who were in the company of the injured male to contact us.
"I am also asking any motorists who were affected when the disturbance spilled onto the roadway to get in touch.
