'Houses' music festival to showcase new talent

Organisers describe the event as a "multi-genre music festival"

A new one-day music festival will showcase the best and brightest up-and-coming talent.

Multi-arts venue SWG3 and music platform Tenement TV (TTV) have come together to stage ‘Houses’ on Saturday May 11.

Organisers describe the event as a "multi-genre music festival".

'Houses' will transform the popular music and arts venue into an open house with five rooms to visit and explore.

Spanning both indoor and outdoor stages, genres will change from room to room.

Already announced are JusHarry, K4CIE, Nicky Lipp, Psweatpants, Queen of Harps, Rory James, Voodoos, with more acts to follow.

Visitors stepping through the door at Houses will also enjoy some of the best food and drink the city has to offer, according to organisers.

A press release reads: “TTV is Scotland’s biggest music platform, championing underground talent. 

 

An exciting addition to SWG3's diverse programme, which celebrates and supports the country’s thriving music scene, Houses is set to become the best festival for new music discovery.

“TTV has been at the start of stories with some of the country’s biggest acts including Lewis Capaldi, Hozier, Sam Fender and Bastille to name a few. 

“Curating events, festivals and new music playlists, TTV exists to grow and celebrate the Scottish music industry by music fans for music fans.”
