Tickets are available for a whisky extravaganza taking place in the West End this weekend.
The National Whisky Festival of Scotland will see more than 30 exhibitors and over 1000 whisky lovers readying themselves for a full day of post-Burns Night celebration in honour of Scotland’s national drink.
The event will feature the most exciting names in the business and more than 100 different whiskies/expressions to try - all included in the ticket price.
Taking place on Saturday 26 January at The Galvanisers - part of the popular SWG3 events complex in Glasgow’s West End - this is the third NWF to be run in collaboration with the world famous folk music and culture festival Celtic Connections.
Two three-and-a-half hour sessions of unique whisky tastings are available.
The festival includes live music curated by Celtic Connections and plenty of delicious, hearty local food (or ‘scran’) to see you right after all those tastings.
There will also be the opportunity for visitors to attend one of 12 whisky tasting Masterclasses (six per session - to be booked separately) to help sharpen their knowledge and hone their tasting skills.
Masterclasses include A Taste of Goa, courtesy of Paul John Indian Single Malt Whisky and a unique tasting lesson from Islay Whisky Academy, run by Rachel MacNeill - founder of the first ever whisky blog for women, Whisky for Girls.
And while all visitors are encouraged to have a wee nip, there is plenty for non-whisky drinkers to enjoy too.
A newly-added craft beer bar and a wide selection of gins, bourbons and other spirits will keep even the most stubborn drinkers happy.

The line-up for each session will be announced in the run up to the event - however we encourage everybody to book now to avoid disappointment as this event is likely to sell out very quickly.
