An office block would be demolished to make way for the student flats.

A developer wants to build another block of student flats in Finnieston.

A notice has been posted with planners for the site at 131 Minerva Street - opposite Exhibition Centre train station.

An office block there now would be demolished to make way for the build.

A planning application has yet to be submitted and details about what is proposed are limited.

A ‘proposal of application notice' was lodged with Glasgow city council on January 15.

The applicant is stated as CW Properties and the agent is Zander Planning Ltd.

The notice states the proposal as: ‘Demolition of office and erection of student accommodation, landscaping and other associated works.’
