A local businessman is hoping to win over planners with his vision for a new restaurant.
Marco Stevenson has been trading on Hyndland Road for more than 20 years.
His new sit-down pizzeria - if given the go-ahead - will see his fast-food outlet Pizza Magic merge with his shop next door.
Marco told Glasgow West End Today he wanted the new restaurant to bring real value to the community.
"I really care about Hyndland and this area - it is a special place to me and I want to give something back.
"I think the restaurant would be a real asset to people living here, sitting where it does.
"It could be enjoyed by people using the park with children - and with dogs.
"I really want it to be a place where people come to chat and meet and enjoy the area."
Marco lodged plans for the 120-seater restaurant back in May.
So far the reaction from the community has been overwhelmingly positive.
The plans have been presented to the local community council, Friends of Old Station Park and the Friends of Glasgow West.
Marco Stevenson:

"I really want it to be a place where people come to chat and meet and enjoy the area."
Marco says: "I have been really touched by the feedback I've had from the local community.
"I think people can see what I am trying to do - and how I care about the area."
The plans will see Marco's two existing premises at Nos 70 and 72 - Pizza Magic and the adjoining former grocers Tabak - knocked into one.
The restaurant would feature a continental-style outside seating area making use of public space overlooking Old Station Park.
Marco believes the increased activity around the restaurant would make the park a more welcoming place for families throughout the day.
"Old Station Park has improved so much in recent years through the work of the Friends.
"Having family and friends and diners generally so close will make the park a safer and friendlier place."
LOCAL NOTICES
The plans have been available online since last month and have been subject of local notices in the area.
Marco will be displaying the plans at Pizza Magic over the summer.
Glasgow West End Today reported in April how Marco had decided to close Tabak after the opening of the nearby Sainsbury's Local food store.
He said then that he intended to move on with new plans for the premises.
