Few clubs can claim to have nurtured champions.
But Broomhill Tennis & Squash Club is proud of its links with brothers Andy and Jamie Murray.
On Saturday, the club will play host to its annual gala day for families across the West End.
It will be an opportunity for the club to open its doors and welcome the community.
Broomhill is looking to swell membership and hopes the gala day will open eyes to its facilities.
But it will also be a chance for people to learn about the club's links with tennis royalty.
Judy Murray was a member of the Crow Road club back in the 80s.
She fell pregnant with the boys when she was based in the West End.
Club member Henry Elliott says: "We are very proud of our links with the Murray boys and Judy.
"We still have her picture on the walls and Judy's name is on our champions' board.
"But we are all about looking to the future now.
"We have made big improvements to the club in recent years - and now we want to boost our membership."
Henry explains that an investment programme has brought the playing facilities up to a high standard.
The next stage is breathing new life in to the club and bar facilities.
'Top-grade facilities'
"The tennis courts have just been upgraded at a cost of approximately £100,000.
"So we now have four top-flight, all-weather tennis courts.
"We have also refreshed the squash courts to top-grade facilities.
"That has been the starting point - to make sure we have the appropriate surfaces for tennis and squash.
"The downside has been with all the investment going on the playing surfaces, the clubhouse was getting a bit neglected.
"But we are now gradually trying to freshen it up - a lick of paint, some work downstairs.
"And we have totally repainted the frontage to brighten up the club on the outside."
He adds: The next thing is to attract new members - we look forward to welcoming new people this weekend."
The event is on Saturday June 9 from 1pm until 5pm.
Events will include a bouncy castle, taster tennis and squash, baking stall, BBQ, beat the goalie.
There will be a draw for free membership for a year, a grand raffle (Top prize meal for 4 with wine) and more.

Admission charge: £1 for adults and 50p for children. The club is at 399 Crow Road close to the Clyde Tunnel road.
